This car was purchased in March of 1994 from the second owner for my wife. It is an all original 1983 280ZX Turbo with no modifications. We have the original window sticker showing the original sales price of $18,124.00 and the original shipping label showing this as a Florida car sold new from Crown Datsun in St. Petersburg. Even the radio/cassette player is the original. It also has the Multi Function Vocal Warning System. The car had 85,006 miles on it when we got it. It now has 107,878 miles. We have only put 22,872 miles on the car in the past 16 1/2 years. It has always been garaged and covered. The paint is also original. You won’t find a better taken care of 280ZX Turbo that has not been modified. It has normal wear for a 26 year old car, but the paint still shines like a 3 year old car. Since we have owned the car we have had the brakes done (front & rear) and the fuel injectors cleaned (6/94), alternator replaced (02/95), all oil changes were done with Castrol Syntec synthetic oil, Cap & Rotor (9/01), Silicone Vacuum Hose Kit (5/10), Distributor and Water Pump (4/10), head liner and rear hatch liner, hatch supports, starter (6/09), tires have less than 2300 miles on them. The A/C does not work but we did take it to Mark’s Air in Tampa, a company that does a lot of custom A/C systems for classic cars and were given a quote of 1,280, including labor to completely re-do the A/C system, however, they would not guarantee that they would be able to take the dash out and reinstall it without damaging it (due to the age) and we did not want to take the chance since the car is original. Besides the car is made to drive with the windows down and the t-tops off. We are only selling the car because as you see from the mileage we do no drive the car and want to see it used because it is a great driving car. We are offering the car for $5,000 OBO.
