If you have ever wondered why they call them Muscle Cars…..Heres Your Answer!!! This is a very original 4- Speed R/T except for the Elephant under the hood. The original 440 has been upgraded with a Mopar Crate Engine 528″ 610 H.P. Pavement Pounder….If you dont plan on becoming an Astronaut, but would like to experience a Space Shuttle Launch…heres your chance!!! I have ALL the ORIGINAL paperwork when this car was purchased new from Thomas Dodge in Little Rock Arkansas on Nov 25, 1967. I also have the ORIGINAL BROADCAST SHEET showing the car exactly as it is today save for the HEMI. Production numbers for the R/T 440 4 -Speed was 1,983 vs 7,751 for the Automatic. It still retains its original Inland Shifter, which was only used on early production cars. Transmission is the 833 Hemi Rear is Dana 60 Sure Grip with 3.54 Gears Engine has 10.25 Compression Ratio and runs fine on 93 Octane Pump Gas I bought the car in 2002 with the Hemi and immediately had it professionally rebuilt by a local shop here in S. Florida, who specializes in Offshore Power Boat and Drag Race Engines. It has the best of everything…call me for more details. I have all the receipts for work done and phone numbers for the engine builder. This car drives like new and has lived in a climate controlled warehouse (see pic) since Ive owned it and has NEVER seen inclement weather. It is only driven to local shows and in my enclosed trailer for distant events. I doubt I have put more than 1000 miles on it since the engine rebuild in 2003. All the gauges and lights work as they should Tires are virtually brand new The body and chrome are show quality The interior is spectacular I change the oil every 6 months and perform normal maintainance as needed This car needs ABSOLUTELY NOTHING and is ready to be enjoyed from the first day of ownership I am NOT a dealer.
